The best seafood meal of the trip came not from an expensive restaurant, but from the kitchen of Hans and Maree Gerritsen who are ex musselfarmers and now operate guest house deep in Marlborough's Kenepuru Sound. Using locally sourced seasonal fresh food, Maree offered a 'Sounds Seafood Bounty' which was wonderful, as was the hospitality and comes thoroughly recommended!
